We looked at strata or layers and how geologists determine age. There are 8 images that we looked at for practice. They are listed below.
Day 3: How the Earth Was Made

2. How are all layers first put down?
Today we watched a movie on how that Rocky Mountains where formed.
Day 4: Earth's History and Rocks

2. Which law is about geologic time that is lost to erosion?

Day 5: Fossils

1.Name one reason why we study Earth’s History
2.The geology of Utah is diverse. There are layers of limestone, sandstone and quartzite. What environments had to be in Utah in the past to get these layers?
Fossils! These are exciting reminders that our planet hasn't always been the same. We looked at some interesting examples today from several different ages.
