Physics! Our first major Unit. We will explore the laws that govern our everyday interaction with the world. Physics will be broken down in to five sub units that will cover the many of the aspects of this diverse subject.
Physics
We will start out with the fundamentals of Physics by looking at velocity, acceleration, Newtons Laws and Force.
Gravity, where would we be without it? We will examine how gravity effects us every day.
This is a great unit. We will be looking at both sound waves and the electromagnetic spectrum and their energy. The real world examples are endless for this unit, as waves are all around us. From our voices to musical instruments, from the sun to a microwave.
Work! Amazing things happen in the area of work. We will be looking at simple and complex machines and how they work. We might even build some for ourselves.
